WPC: Door
The guide from Boston PhotoWalks…loves Holland and had visited many time. She said she always points out this pair of doors in Boston’s Back Bay because they remind her of the architecture in Holland.
WPC: Off-Season
These were first posted some months ago when our coast was buried in snow. Now this area is full of people running around in bathing suits and there is a sand sculpture competition this week.
WPC: Forces of Nature
These images are so old, they go back to when I only shot with my iPhone. Nonetheless, when we visited Iceland three years ago, I was fascinated with the glaciers that could move huge mounds of dirt and calve off huge chunks of their ice into lagoons.
Note: The aerial image is of Greenland which we flew over on the trip home.
WPC: Intricate
When I saw the weekly photo challenge, I immediately thought of some of the wonderful patterns we saw in San Diego, California. This was taken at the shopping mall at Horton Plaza.
WPC: Early Bird
This was taken in the desert outside of Tucson a few years ago. I’d just bought a dSLR camera and really enjoyed getting up early to hike in the desert and make some sunrise photos.
