Last week, I posted the easiest image I’ve recently made; it was a cardinal and I made the image from our living room. This is a close runner up. I was driving home at sunset and saw the sun setting over the orchard in Hollis. I parked on a side street and walked in to make this and a few other shots that I will be sure to share.
These images were made last week at Hancock Shaker Village in Western Massachusetts.
Here are a few last Christmas images, including a couple of food shots made over Christmas. I hope your day is merry and bright.
The Christmas Tree in Boston’s Copley Square with Trinity Church in the background.
I made this image a few weeks ago, trying to capture some of fall’s brilliant colors before they faded.
I spotted this classic cypress tree in a swamp while cycling in Florida but was not sure if I could manage to get down the embankment and over the barbed wire fence to get close enough to make a photo. But I did and it was worth the effort.
During vacation, we took a day trip up to St. Augustine Florida and notice this tree in front of the old Spanish Castillo.
