There was some interesting light a couple of weeks ago when we went into Boston. I’ve photographed this church before but liked the muted sun behind it. It gave it a nice effect. This was made from Copley Square.

Saltmarsh
I went to take this image with my dSLR but the sky was all blown out. A pity because it looked nice through my sunglasses a moment before. And therein lay the solution. I took out my iPhone and sunglasses and made this image shot through the lens to my sunglasses.
Hollis Orchard at Sunset
Last week, I posted the easiest image I’ve recently made; it was a cardinal and I made the image from our living room. This is a close runner up. I was driving home at sunset and saw the sun setting over the orchard in Hollis. I parked on a side street and walked in to make this and a few other shots that I will be sure to share.
