This is an image I made while cycling in Florida in early February. We were following a cycling trail in central Florida through a primarily agricultural area when we came across this shack covered in vegetation. It is almost invisible beneath the tangle of vines and branches.

Floridian Kitsch
Driving up to St. Augustine, we stopped here at this stand….for something….I’m not sure what, now. But you gotta love the Florida tourist items.

Floral City, Florida
The reason we stayed in Orlando is that it is within an hour or so of three long rail trails for riding bicycles. These photos were made while we cycled the Withlacoochee Trail. It is about 40 miles / 64 km long but most of these shots were made around Floral City. Many of the murals are on the trail side of Citrus Cycles, though they deal in cycles with a motor on them.

Orlando Farmers Market
When many people think of Orlando, they think of the theme parks nearby. We stayed in downtown Orlando during our recent vacation and used it as a base for cycling some bike trails and having a few day trips. When we arrived on Sunday, our first stop was the Orlando Farmers Market in the park around Lake Eola. Here are a few views.
St. Augustine Florida
The past few days, I’ve shown photos made at the old Castillo in St. Augustine Florida. Here are more photos from the fort and downtown area.

One Evening in Miami Beach
This week, my work brought me to Miami for a day, which allowed my to spend the evening on Miami Beach. This series of photos tries to capture the evening and the feel of the place. I think the pictures and their captions speak for themselves.
