On a nice autumnal Saturday, it seemed like all of Montreal stopped at the top of Mount Royal to enjoy life. It was amazing to see all of the different ways that people enjoyed themselves.
Most people seemed to enjoy hanging out on the belvidere. These two young ladies were making action shots.
Others took some sun sitting on the steps.
Some people walked their dogs up to the top of the park.
Many people took photographs. This frame was place near the edge so that people could have a framed photo from the top.
This contraption came along and took rider for a tour of the city (or was it of the pubs) on this device.
And then there was this familiar looking guy.
This above image of Habitat 67 was included in yesterday’s gallery and received several comments about its unique appearance. It seemed like an interesting image to make into BW. The other images are from the government buildings around the old city and a section of Notre Dame Basilica.
We are about four days away from our summer vacation. We’ve chosen to go on a cycling holiday this year, and this made me feel nostalgia for past trips. This is from a trip we took around Lac San Jean about two hours north of Quebec City in Canada. Val Jalbert was once a thriving community but was abandoned in the mid 20th century. The buildings have now become a museum.
