Milford Freight Depot

Despite living less than ten miles from this location, I only found it last week while trying to find a short cut.

The old depot is now a garage that specializes in restoring Ford Mustangs. I looked at a website featuring fully restored 1960s Mustangs. They cost over $200,000.

This image is odd because the window and wall look so old while the door looks like they installed it last week.

Love the antiquated feel of the depot. The new door stands out like a sore thumb and needs some “running in” to get it rustic. $200,000 for a mustang (retrofitted) – cars are very expensive in Singapore and a mercedes benz E200 on normal gasoline costs SGD288,000 and above. Small Japanese cars cost anything from SGD80,000 upwards. So a retrofitted Mustang if sold to a collector here must cost even more!

Interesting find! I just sold a 2004 Mustang as we moved out of our Arizona home… Didn’t get anywhere near that lofty price you mentioned… though given the used car market right now, I was able to sell it for more than I paid for it when I bought it in 2016. I’ll be happy with that. >grin<

Indeed. I just finished a post on the Mecum auto auction. Quite a collection of late 1950s model GM cars there. Those were not all selling at around the $100K mark, though.
