The Fearless Girl stands in front of the New York Stock Exchange in Manhattan. It was erected in 2017 for International Women’s Day as a symbol of women’s empowerment.
We’ve lived here for twenty years with woods between us and the state road behind our house. Last year, a sign went up announcing the land was for sale for building lots. Last week, this tractor arrived. It’s not done much except for some test pits. We’d love to have the land remain woods, but I fear builders will shop up this spring.
