Recent warm weather made the ice on the lake unsafe for the bob houses, sleds, and people. Everything has been pulled off the ice and nobody is venturing out. Sadly, tomorrow’s fishing contest was cancelled.

It’s official. Our foster dog Nina was voted cutest dog at the after party for a fund raising event for the local United Way. Here we are with Nina’s trophy.

This teacup and saucer have a second life as a bird feeder.

Last year, we put out a deer feeder in winter. Our game camera caught a pair of deer regularly coming at night. This year, we have a single deer and a different pair coming at all hours.
