Sources of power – one sustainable and one not. This image was two years in the making. I started to notice the juxtaposition of the wind turbine and smoke stacks as I would make the drive south into Boston. I found a parking garage that would give me the right vantage point and finally picked a night to go down to make this image.
Only one caveat: the sustainable windmill does not last as long as the power plant.
Oh interesting. I hadn’t thought of it that way.
Never see those two together. Usually the windmills are planted across the countryside. 👀🍃
I know. There are several in the Boston area to catch the sea breezes.
Gail makes a point about the lone windmill. We have a few stand-alone generators in North Dakota, but the vast majority are in huge numbers lining ridges or in fields that used to grow crops, but now grow energy.
There are some in Boston to catch the sea breezes.
The photo is worth the two years to get just right.
Thank you. Well one of those years was COVID when I didn’t go to Boston.
I hear that . . .
Oh, I love juxtapositions like this one Chris! Well done.
Thank you so much.
Nice contrast. Thanks
Why did I just want to say that He-Man line? hehehehe
