If you visit Boston, you’ll see people walking aruond with boxes from Mike’s pastry. This is the original store in the North End. Even at 8:30 on a Saturday night, there is a line to get in. Once you’re in, there is another line. They have excellent Italian pastry.
If you go two blocks over, Bova’s Bakery also has excellent Italian pastry and I’ve seldom had to wait. They are also open 24/7 in case you get that 2:00 AM craving for cannoli.
Enjoy your weekend. Enjoy your pastries! 😋🙋♂️
Mmmhmmm – Thank you!
With a line like that, the pastry must be good!
It is very good. Nothing like authentic Italian pastry.
🙂
Great shot. I’m not a ‘line’ person, so I’d be checking out Bova. Either way, you’ve got me thinking about cannoli. 🙂
I think the Mike’s Pastry boxes have become a status symbol among tourists.
Useful info. I hope lines are still allowed by the time I get there: no new pandemic wave.
Let’s hope we can avoid another wave.
Oh a cannoli please!!!
Happy August my friend!
Happy August, Nancy.
