Life Savers as Art

Repeating patterns make for excellent photography subjects. I sspotted these seven rescue cans lined up at Hampton Beach.

Then while visiting the USS Constitution, I photographed this life ring. I turned up the contrast and luminenve a bit to make it pop.

They are. They have a tether attached. If the person being rescued is conscious, you pass them the can. They can float on it while you tow them to shore. Your in Florida, though. When I’ve gone to the beach there, the lifeguards have jetskis.
