My mother gave me some cuttings a few years ago. All I do is water them, but each year we get more! And I love their purple blooms too. I love all colors of irises, but purple especially.
They do seem to multiply. They spread out into our garden.
These remind me of the row of them we had at our back fence when I was a child 🙂
