A Morning Visitor

This little one was in the yard the other morning.

I saw him/her while working on editing a chapter. I was able to make these from the window,

He/She returned the next day when I was unloading some things from the car. It wasn’t shy about sharing the yard with me.

No! Not the blueberry bushes!

I couldn’t hit ‘like’ on this one because of the last photo. πŸ™‚ They are handsome to look at, but between the ticks and the fact that they view gardeners’ yards as salad bars, I wish them good luck in the woods rather than a yard. πŸ™‚

Unfortunately, these fellows should be out in the forest where they belong but with no predators………they’ll eat your blueberries and everything else! Bring back the wolves, bears…!

Thank you. He was actually just here again. We are caring for my brother in law’s dog. We went out side. The dog was on a leach. The dog laid down and the deer came over to check out the dog. They were only a few meters apart and then the dog got excited and jumped up. So, the deer ran away. Very odd but beautiful.
