When I photographed this bridge last summer, the state was in the midst of a drought. I made a mental note to come back here in later winter / eary spring. It was a sight to see with the water rushing over the dam.
Thank you. There is a long decline down to the water’s edge. It was a bit icy but there was a handrail. It was worth the effort and risk to get this angle.
I particuarly like the vantage point for this photo: the rushing water, the weathering wood of the bridge, and that brilliant blue sky.

You’re welcome, Chris. I figured you had to go out of your way to get that angle!

Amazing difference. Glad you went back. 👀🍃
Thank you, Gail. Me too.
Love the composition with the dam and the bridge as co-focal points! Nice shot.
Thank you very much, John.
This is great to be able to go back and photograph it during a different season.
Yes, it’s a couple of hours away but usually if I drive that far, I can photograph a few different things while I’m in the area.
Beautiful photo. Flowing water is always inspiring.
Thank you so much.
Good calculation, the bridge and its high pillars make sense now. Great picture and lovely light.
Thank you so much.
With the bright blue sky behind it, this photo is spectacular.
Thank you, Christy.
Great image Chris 🌷
