On my road trip two weeks ago, I drove the highway over the famed Kancamagus Pass. A few of the scenic vista parking lots were plowed. I made this image and the panoramic photograph below at one of them.
I always enjoy panoramic views. They seem so much more fitting for those majestic scenes that, with a standard format image, makes me feel that I am looking through a small window.
Yes, I have fun with them also and enjoy looking at them. The iPhone does a decent job with making panoramic iamges, thought I used my dSLR for this one.
Beautiful shots! Are those your footprints? Were you the first?
Thank you so much. No, I came rather late in the day. This was one of the few open parking areas and very popular.
Nice captures !
Thank you so much!
Beautiful shots! Wasn’t there any snow on the mountain tops?
I wonder if it is obscured by the trees. I took a separate photograph of a bald mountain that was definitely snow and ice covered.
The Kancamagus is one of my favoirte scenic drives in NH. Your photos show the reason why.
Thank you Liz. I was back up north again today.
You’re welcome, Chris. My husband and I always enjoy about North Country sojourns.
Lovely photos! I can “picture” myself there enjoying that spectacular view. Really great photo, Chris.
Thank you so much.
My pleasure😊
What a spectacular view. And you captured it so well. 👀🍃
Thank you, Gail.

Same with my Samsung, it does fine creating the panos, but I prefer creating my own. For some reason, it seems to be more my own work. >grin<
I think the work to make a good panoramic shot is worth the effort.
Great views! I’m so glad you get out and explore!
Thank you, Nancy!
Wow 💯
Thank you!
