I was going through some images from the time I spent in El Salvador in 2016 and found this photo of a father and daughter walking near the market (mercado). I’d never done anything with it but thought it was post-worthy.
How wonderful! You’re all set for the rest of the year! We are slower at getting it together. Hopefully before the end of the weekend we will be all set too.
It’s a wonderful shot! The vibrant colours are beautiful. Are you still in contact with the people back there? I can imagine it being a very tough time for them. 😟
so vibrant .. busy, teeming with life. wonder how this past year has affected them, have you had news?
Yes, schools shut down in March, which is a problem because their school year starts in January. They are due to reopen January 2021.
Wow. Has it really been that long ago?! Such a great colorful photo.
It was four years ago. Thank you, Lois.
Great capture. 👀🍃
Thank you, Gail.
Beautiful bright colors. I enjoy busy matket scenes…brings back good memories. Thank you, very much.🙏
Thank you. I love markets.
They look like they’re on a mission!
Some serious shopping.
Very interesting photo indeed Chris…as we don’t when can we walk freely like that minus the face mask..
It does seem odd to see people without the masks.
Beautiful image Chris! A bustling market and a family navigating through the scene. It tells a story of a busy day. I hope you have a nice day off!
Thank you, Sandra. I miss the market. It was a good day. We have most of our outdoor Christmas decorations up! I hope you had a good day too.

I’m attempting to make a pallet Chritmas tree. The hardest part may have been getting the pallet apart.
I love that you’re always busy creating. That’s awesome!
Good idea, it takes me back to Latin America where sidewalks are not made for walking, but are made for street vendors.
A marvellous picture Chris! (As I opened the email notification, I was confused😕: this is never NH?) 😎
Thank you, Ashley. Definitely not NH.
Great colors. And hoping we can get to a day where we don’t have to wear a mask… just like in this capture.
I know. I can’t wait!

Thank you. Yes, I’ve been in touch. Schools are trying to open there again.
I guess they have to since homeschooling probably won’t be an option for most families. But damn…
