A couple of weeks ago, we had or first snow. There were still some colorful leaves on the ground which made the picture above more interesting. The image below made me laugh.
I love these shots Chris! They are marching in their own thanksgiving parade it seems. I love how the first one posed for you! Wonderful! Take good care there, stay warm!
I’ve heard some can be aggressive but these guys keep their distance with me. We give them food and at times I am surrounded by them with like a six foot circle of open space.
So cute to see the wild turkeys walking about in snow. All I can see is a turkey dinner awaits and LOL, I would probably catch one for dinner if it is edible LOL. Free range too!
😃Turkey awaits…go catch yourself one🤣 but jokes aside, the wild turkeys do add to the festivity scape of thanksgiving and I can picture them scattered around your Mr Wooden Man. Very nice picture with pumpkins and snow.
Come along, girls; step lively now!
The photo of the ‘ladies’ walking in a line made me smile. I love the snowy backdrop,.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. They often do things that make us smile. It’s trickier to get them to do something for the camera.
Uh-oh. 🦃
Yup – It’s that time of year.
Cute always fun to see critters in the first snow 😀😂👍 have a funny day ~ smiles hedy 💫
It was fun to see them like this.
free and wild. ☺️👌
you worked your magic and got the turkey to stand pretty for the picture =^_^=
Yes, that’s exactly what happened. Only a fool would sit at his window clicking a hundred pics to get a couple of decent ones.
It is perfect for a lovely postcard. I love your photos!
Thank you so much.
My pleasure.
walk this way…what a great photo! Now if only the squirrels would do something like this….
Oh gosh, we are overrun with squirrels after the bird food.
ohhh this made me smile Chris
Oh, I’m glad you liked it.
I’m jealous you already have snow ❄️
Well, it’s gone now but I’m sure it will be back.
Great pictures, Chris! They would make wonderful Christmas cards.
hank you so much. They always bring a smile to my face.
Are those turkeys goosestepping? Er, ah…. no, they must be turkeystepping. 🙂
Yes, we have turkey stepping turkeys!

I’m not sure he quite posed, though it looks that way. A lot of shots end up deleted to get a few that work. You know how it is. Thank you.
Turkeys on parade in the snow… only parade we may get this season.
I dunno why, I run away from them!
I’ve heard some can be aggressive but these guys keep their distance with me. We give them food and at times I am surrounded by them with like a six foot circle of open space.
Get your “turkeys” in a row!
Great shots, Chris. And they brought a smile to my face!
Happy Day to you!
I loved the photo too!
Thank you, Ann

I’ve never had wild turkey. I hear the taste is different, more wild and gamey.

Hehe! Your turkeys are so funny! But I don’t envy you your snow!
The turkey were not to happy with the snow either.
