Old pilings from piers in East Boston are in the foreground with the Financial District downtown across the harbor. We had unseasonably warm weather this weekend. I took the opportunity to drive down to Boston early Saturday morning for some photos. It was my first trip to Boston since Feburary.
What an impressive view of Boston – nice picture and contrast!
Oh, thank you so much.
You chose a perfect subject. Well done!
Thank you, Liz.
You’re welcome, Chris.
What a great shot! A city I’d love to visit.
It’s a great city to visit. You’d love it.
It is a pretty city, especially near the water.
Most definitely. Thank you.
Interesting comparison!
Indeed Boston is an old city, it’s a good way to show it. What an amazing weather at the moment, like winter’s spring.
Thank you. I love this weather.
Beautiful view! Great weather for an adventure. Good thinking! I hope you’re doing well Chris.
Thank you Sandra. The great thing about Boston at dawn is that it’s just me and people walking their dogs. Things are good here. I hope it’s the same there.
This is a wonderful picture, Chris. I love the idea of the contrast between old and new and I think you captured it so well..
Thank you so much.
Boston is one place that I have no visited yet. Nice share! Thanks.
Thank you. Perhaps when COVID ends, you could visit.
I hope so. But a very very long flight for me.
Beautiful weather brings this beautiful contrast.
Glad you got to visit Boston again!
Happy Day to you.
Happy Day, Nancy.
Spot on Chris…i love the contrast
Thank you so much, Mich.
Nice juxtaposition! And I was just thinking about how long it was since you’ve been in Boston.
Thank you. And I won’t be back for a while. Massachusetts doesn’t want NH residents traveling their without a negative COVID test.
