It’s Election Day here in the USA and a big one with the President, all members of the House of Representatives, and a third of our Senators on the ballot. It’s been an interesting campaign season and is likely to continue to be interesting as the results are tallied.
Love this! And interesting indeed!
❤️🤍💙
I figure that in their minds many people will replace “interesting” with the word of their choosing. Thank you, Nancy.
That’s funny. In my experience in the workplace, “interesting” means “bad.”
Ha ha ha – It can have many meanings.
😀
From the north it seems like election years…and crazy. It’s a race for democracy…a wash of blue 🌊💙sending all good things hedy 💫
Thank you, Hedy. Have a great day.
I’m holding my breath…
Given the likelihood of recounts and litigation, I hope you can hold it a long time.
Very nice 👌
Thank you, Dulcy. I hope you are well.
Welcome 😃 I’m fine and busy with my studies
It will be a late night in front of the TV for many people this evening, myself included.
Same here. Or else a night of checking the news every few hours. I don’t think we are going to know tonight.
I think you are right. Too many states with absentee ballots that can’t even be counted until today or after.
It’s all on the line! Hoping for an indisputable blow out. We voted a few weeks ago. Take good care Chris!
I agree that an indisputable blow out would be a good thing. We also voted a couple of weeks ago. IN speaking to our town clerk, I was amazed at the well thought out process they have in place to process the votes in a timely manner here. Town and city clerks are the current everyday heros. Stay safe and be well, my friend.
So true! You do the same Chris. Be well!
I’m afraid my vote wouldn’t count!
My great grandfather came from County Cork. In 1938, he applied for citienship. On his application, he wrote that he would make a fine citizen because he’d voted in every election since 1910.
An excellent candidate for citizenship then!
It will be interesting. Please be safe everyone. Civil unrest is inevitable.
I hope it’s not inevitable but won’t be shocked if it happens. If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs….
I always dread this night and the increased anxiety, but I am looking forward to moving forward. Grateful and humbled to have the right to vote. This picture is my favorite election day post!
I agree that no matter what happens, it will be good to get beyond the election and move forward. I’m glad you liked the photo. I have to start getting his Thansksgiving outfit ready.
Love the way you decorated Scarecrow as Wooden Man actually. Yes, interesting times and I am following the results from lil red dot. All the best!
Thank you. What happened last night was pretty much what I expected. The count goes on….
It’s definitely different this year. Even my small town America didn’t have results last night. They resume counting ballots this morning. It’s crazy. 😜
It is the strangest election since 2000. And that only got strange after the votes were in.
We live in interesting times for sure. Alarming is another word that comes to mind! But all we can do is what we know is right, and hope our example might influence others. So I voted, and whatever the outcome, I will accept it calmly. Because that’s the world I want to live in!
That’sd the world I want to live in a lso. No matter what happens, about 50% of the people will be disappointed. Whether we are disappointed or not, it’s important to act with dignity and grace.
Interesting is a very diplomatic term, Chris! 😉
I try to be diplomatic.
WTG Woody!!!
Ha ha ha – Thank you
