This image is unusual because normally branches would block the view of the top of the canopy. I made it by standing in the middle of a brook that had gone dry due to a drought in the later part of summer. A month of more have passed and with recent rains, I’d get my feel wet if I tried it today.
Tall trees! Great aerial perspective.๐๐
Great looking-up shot!
Thank you, Liz
You’re welcome, Chris.

Great shot!
wet feet, not good at this time of year… =^_^=
No – It’s been very wet here. We need it but not all at once.
Great view ๐
Thank you
What a view! ๐๐
Some view! I’d get a sore neck if I took too long, then I’d need to lie down in the stream ๐คฃ
Ha ha ha – I hadn’t thought of lying down. Great idea.
Nice angle. I agree that looking up gives a different perspective of the forest, you feel so small under those tall branches waving at you!
Thank you. Yes, usually, there are branches right overhead. I didn’t expect this perspective when I stepped in teh dry brook.
Oooooo…I love this view. So many thoughts come into my mind from this photo.
Thank you, Andi. It’s such a unique view for this area. I’m glad you liked it.
Such an impressive shot of a tall skyscape of trees. ๐ฒ ๐ณ Beautiful! Happy Friday Eve friend!
