I’m posting a little late today because my father and I took a ride down to the marina to check out the boats. There were some nice ones.
I made this image behind my parents’ home on Cape Cod. While this landing is directly behind their home, the area on the water is shared by people on the street. The boat belongs to a man who owns a fish market called The Clam Man. My parents affectionately refer to him by this moniker.
What a gorgeous shot. ๐๐
What a beautiful view your parents have! Gorgeous, Chris.
Thank you, Lois.
Talk about a room with a view! And I don’t like clams!
They sell other items also. It’s a great view.
beautiful, beautiful shot!
Oh, thank you
So simple yet so beautiful. Such places are pure peace! ๐
Thank you so much.
How charming. Imagine the stories the โClam Manโ could tell. ๐๐
I’m sure. I saw his truck for hauling seafood today. It’s pretty cool looking.
Did you get a photo? ๐๐
No, i was on my bike heading in the opposite direction
Next time, perhaps. ๐๐๐
I hope so.
Magnificent shot, Chris! Hope you have a good time with your dad! Cheers!
We had a great time. Thank you

You’re welcome, Chris!
love this picture.. the soft light.. great shot!
Thank you. I was going out for a bike ride last weekend and saw this shot. I walked down to the water line to get it.
Wow another stunner! I love the name too. This is the perfect image for the end of summer. Nice job Chris!
Thank you so much, Sandra. Have a great evening.
wow chris – quite a wonderful photo
and I first read “calm” and felt calmness with the clam man’s boat
It was calm. Perhaps it was one of those subconscious associations that I chose to all it by this name rather than another.
๐ perhaps
Beautiful shot!
Thank you so much.
beautiful, nice shot
Thank you so much.
Love this shot!
Thank you, Kirt. I was heading out for a bike ride and saw this scene. All I had was my iPhone. If i ran back inside for my camera the shot would have been gone by the time I returned.
So beautiful indeed.. Image has been taken.
I took it for myself.
When i saw White Mountain I thought Arizona…..spent many weekends up in the cool pines….
