What’s in Bloom? – June 14, 2020

We have Lilies in bloom this week. I’m not sure of the varieties but they are beautiful. We are eating blueberries and lettuce from our vegetable garden. Sorry for the lack of a vegetable garden photo to update you. I planned to do that last night and the skies just opened up.

These lilies are exquisite! Their rich coloring is just perfection. Nice captures Chris! Happy to hear the garden is producing too! I just read an article about how blueberries are the perfect brain food. We had raspberry bushes at our old house but the squirrels gobbled them all up always.

Thank you, Sandra. They look great in our yard. We sit under the shade of a tree next to the garden in the late afternoon. I’ve also heard that blueberries are great brain food. We have to fight the birds for them, though. 😳

If they’re going to steal some blueberries they should at least pose for a photo op. That should be the price. 😉 Hope you’re doing great today Chris!

I agree. It’s funny when the turkeys try to eat from the high branches. They jump to get the berries. 😂 It’s a good day today. I hope it’s the same there.

Thank you. The turkeys came to visit while I was on a work call this afternoon. The call didn’t prevent me from making a few photos from the window. That’s what the mute button is for. 😂

Yes! Excellent use of the mute button! I was in an all day virtual training today. My head feels full! I hope you are doing well!

I had a half a day of teaching and a meeting and then did some fun things outside. All day trainings are tough. I hope tomorrow’s a bit easier.
