I stopped in Troy, NH for a bit of cycling over the weekend. The photo above is the old train depot. The tracks are gone and the old railroad bed is a recreational trail. Below are two images from the town square. Quintessential small-town New England.

been there, loved it. lucky you.. so close. for me so far.. sends virtual hugs
You’ve been to Troy, NH? It is a cute little town. It was probably much bigger when the factory was running. I hope to return in the fall to cycle there again. Thank you…Virtual hugs back.
Cute little station.
It’s nice. It looks well maintained.
What a good overhang the old depot has! I picture generations of travelers grateful for the shelter.
I’m sure. It’s a classic. There was another up the road in the next town.
weekend is fun, missing it
I know, right? Luckily another weekend is coming soon.
yeah, hoping to pack my suitcase and get on a travel asap
Go for it.
I really like the drama in the sky at the Troy Depot, Chris! Nice captures! What a great place to spin through on your bike. Glad you paused for the photos. Thank you!
Thank you, Sandra. It was a cool place. I hope to cycle here again in the fall. It’s a pretty spot and only 45 minutes from home. Take care.
That train station building is really quite something! I like the angle you’ve caught of that roof!
Thank you. The roof has a number of interesting angles to work with.
PRESERVING JUST ENOUGH…
