I found this rusty old American dream at an auto salvage yard in Wilton, NH. I wonder how many miles she had on her before she was retired.

I particularly like evergreens in the background as the setting for the truck’s retirement? final resting place?
I think it is the final resting place. It is kind of like a sculpture for the salvage yard. It catches your eye as you drive by.
I wasn’t able to quite articulate what about the setting was so appealing. I think you hit it: a sculpture for the salvage yard.
now you are talking to my “heart”.. what a looker!
I knew youβd like this one. π
that’s one rusty beauty… such a great shot, Chris!!
Thank you, Alex. It has a cool look to it.
btw, looks like Mater from the animation “Cars” π the best character π
Ha ha ha. So it does. Perhaps it was the creative inspiration.
Love this sort of photo’s !
Thank you so much. Have a great day.
Buona domenica π
You as well. π
Wow, I love this rusty classic! Looks like an old work truck maybe? Very cool find Chris! I hope you’re having a great day.
Yes, I agree. It must have been a work truck at one time. Itβs a beauty even in this condition. The day is going well. Itβs a day for work outside on the house.
Somehow a rusty car makes for more interesting shots than a shiny new one – at least to me! π
I like to drive a shiny new one but prefer to look at this one.
