I made this image in Kittery, ME on an unseasonably warm day at the end of February. We had a carefree day driving out to the coast to meet some family at a nearby restaurant for lunch. It was just two weeks before everything changed due to COVID-19. It seems like it was made at a very different time.
…yes change is always there…I read this Shakespeare quote this week…I liked it a lot in this moment…”And this our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything. I would not change it.”…of course I think we can always do better. Smiles and all good things to you dear Chris ☺️☀️💫
Great quote, Hedy. Nature has so much to offer.
Interesting name for a boat. Guess you see all kinds of different ones.
I’m guessing it’s named after someone’s wife or mother. That’s pretty common.
nice!! sailing into the new week on calm waters 🙂
I hope so!
Better days straight ahead. That’s what I keep telling myself, Chris. And it’s my hope for you too. Stay safe.
We have to have hope! I hope you stay safe also.
Let’s hope the waters begin to calm down so we can enjoy our places once again!
Amen
Also, wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this photo! It’s beautiful and a great metaphor for the time it was taken. Well done!
Thank you. 🙂
I can imagine how different it feels now for you by looking at this picture, Chris. They say it takes about 60 days to create new habits, like wearing masks, keeping your distance etc. And I think it definitely has become a new habit for most of us now.
The new because so normal so quickly.
Great image
Thank you, Sohair. I hope you enjoyed Eid. I’m sure it was a bit different but I hope it was good.
Yes it is good ..thANKS Chris.
