I made these images a couple of weeks ago in the town center of Mason, NH. Their gazebo is stunning. They still have their old schoolhouse but have added on to it to make a modern school. And their church is very pretty but has a lot of power lines in front of it, so you get to see the steeple on a beautiful morning.
Power lines, the bane of the photographer. Fargo’s old city hall is another example of a beautiful facade spoiled in photographs by power lines (when most of the city has underground wiring. Go figure.)
That’s a shame about Fargo. A couple of times, I’ve erased them in Lightroom but it’s a lot of work.
Yeah, I did that for one photo of the building, but it truly is a lot of work.
Lovely! My church photos are also mostly of steeples because of power lines.
Thank you. I know. Why do they put the power lines right in front of the prettiest buildings.
Good question.
I enjoyed exploring New Hampshire when my husband had business trips there. 💯
Thank you. There are some really pretty spots.
Buon weekend con il sorriso 🙂
Smiles back to you. 🙂
You live in such a pretty area.
Thank you, Lois. Have a great weekend!
I second Lois, so pretty where you live and you capture it so beautifully 🙂
Thank you, Alex. I hope you’re enjoying the weekend (and not working).
Absolutely gorgeous 👍👍👍
Thank you. It’s not far from where we live.
You are lucky Chris 👍
What a charming place! Beautiful pictures, Chris! Looks like the perfect setting for a movie or tv show.
It could be the setting for the quintessential New England town. I hope you had fun today. 😊
My mother taught in the Mason school for more than 20 years.
Oh really. We live in Brookline, NH. That’s why you see so many images from that area. Have a great weekend.
Wow what a beautiful pictures! It gave me euphoric feeling for 1 minute.
I’m glad you enjoyed them. Thank you.
Very quaint!
It’s a cute town. There’s a nice restaurant that specializes in growing and using herbs.
Like my garden 🙂
Such a pretty gazebo! We don’t have many of those around here. And how wonderful they’ve integrated the old school building in the new one!!
I’ve not often seeen old school buildings integrated into new ones like this. Usually, the old school buidings are stand alone and not in the best location for expansion. I think it’s a great idea.
Gazebo!? So that’s it’s named! I would love to have one!
They are nice. Some people ha e them in their yard with a screen around them to keep out the insects.
