such a gorgeous shot!! I love love love bookstores…
but, alas, I’ll be the one to say I don’t have to read during this lockdown yikes! my chores at home doubled with the boys staying at home all the time…
Beautiful picture! I have plenty to read but unfortunately I don’t have the brainpower/attention span for it these days. It doesn’t make sense. I love to read and always wished for more time to do so. Now that time is here, I can’t focus long enough to dive into a story. My mind wanders off at night on it’s own. The darn thing.
I know what you mean and feel the same. Itβs almost embarrassing how little Iβve read. But my mind is likewise occupied. I guess we will read what we can and not worry too much about it. Iβm reading a pretty good fictionalized a count of the life of photographer Dorothea Lange.
I LOVE used book stores! Sadly, so many of them are going out of business. As soon as these restrictions are lifted, I’m going to travel and when I do, I’ll be hitting as many book stores as possible!
I really lovd them too. It’s fun to just dig through and see what treasures they have. I can’t wait to hit the road again or even travel locally to some of my favorite used book shops.
Oh! And here I was thinking it might be your very own library! π Yes, much reading done these days! π But still I can’t wait for the libraries to open again (which will likely be next week!).
I’m not quite sure about their modus operandi, I think it will be reduced to only a few people granted entrance and only to return and borrow new media. No using the work spaces etc. I don’t know when I’ll risk it since I don’t have to return me books until the end of May and also luckily have still a lot of books of my own that I haven’t read yet. Though there’s quite a dent in the pile already. π

Thank you, Alex. I initially thought Iβd have more time but no, I donβt either. Oh well.
Love those books… and you are so very right!
Thank you, Nancy!

Oh, and thank you. ππ»
I love those cool rolling bookshelf ladders!
I do too. I’d love to have one at our house.
Un saluto π
Hello! π
I have time to read, but I don’t use Amazon if I can help it and the library is closed, so I’m rereading books I have in the house.
Itβs a challenge. I miss the library.
Now is the time to read the classics, ππ»find old and new favourites – we simply love books π ππ
Iagree but have trouble concentrating with everything running through my head.

Your libraries will open in a wekk? I’m very jealous.

I agree, we have no more excuses not to read new things. π
Thank you. So true.
This pandemic has destroyed the quote that said so many books, little time to read. Now we all know we can read as much as we can.
But are they reading? I am!
It depends and varies person to person. But I’ve been reading quite more than usual.
That’s great. It’s good to put this time of isolating due to COVID-19 to good use.
