Last weekend, we visited the Dublin Antique Market. This is a weekend-long event held in a field in Dublin, NH (not Ireland). It was a good sized show with a lot of interesting and fun things that seemed to be at the right price. I managed to pick up a couple of things, including an old Kodak Brownie box camera as a gift for a friend.
Lucky friend!
The funny thing is that you can buy them for $15-20 at these markets. The friend is in Europe. Iβm guessing it will cost me at least double what I paid to ship it.
…and the irony of that! π
Lovely antiquared finds!πHappy Sundayπ
And a happy Sunday to you also. Cheers
Iβd like a box camera…and always fun to snoop about in these spaces…wishing you a joyful and productive week Chris…also I love Boston enjoy! βΊοΈβοΈπ«
Box cameras are easy to find at these big antique shows. And they’re usually not too expensive. If you’re lucky, you might find one that takes 120 film and use it to take a few photos. Thank you and have a great week.
You mean this wasn’t held in Dublin, Ohio? π Cool antiques!
I’d still prefer Dublin Ireland
I just might agree with ye there π
Lots of treasures here! I remember the Brownie box cameras.
I don’t recall those, possibly because our family was very into Polaroid cameras growing up. My father still has several old Polaroid cameras.
Lucky friend! π Love rummaging through these kind of markets. π That’s a really cool shot with you being reflected in one of the sun glasses. π
Oh you spotted me. Thanks Sarah. Cheers
Hehe! π
The colors are fantastic Chris.. Pretty ones.
Thank you!
Welcome.
Dublin, how cool π
I wish it were Dublin Ireland!
