The lighting and the flags and that cool building – such a cool street and some of your photos feel like how money would paint something at different times and with different light
good lad, mama would be proud of you…I plan on using a vest or jacket when I leave the house today too… Although I think its going to be warm this afternoon.
Wow! This is stunning, Chris! The golden light caught in the windows, the still wet street, the colours…I really love this shot! And it’s great that they keep the street like that, it could easily just as well be situated in the City of London or Amsterdam. Cheers!
Thanks, Sarah. This was more luck than planned. The light was just right when I passed by. I also like the way they’ve kept the street. I hope you’re having a great Sunday. Cheers
Is that brick or cobblestone, Chris? What a great old street. What I would give to be wearing fleece. The a/c just kicked on–and I do not keep my house very cool at all. I figure we are going to skip fall and head straight to (our version) of winter here in sunny Florida.
It’s cobblestone. I know, be careful what you wish for. By midday, I was working outside without a shirt but I recall making photos in August in a T-shirt and shorts. Stay cool. Cheers
Christopher, thank you for evoking so many good memories of the 20+ years we spent in the Boston area! Now after 20+ years on Long Island, NY – and of course becoming Yankees followers – it’s a treat to see places we loved for so long!

Oh, thank you so much. I’ve been using HDR a lot lately to combine different exposures to get the light just right. Cheers
The lens doctor !
😊
postcard perfect
Thank you. Although, I’m out making photos this morning and it’s downright chilly. I have my fleece on. 🤓

Thank you. It’s my pleasure. Cheers!
Is that a flat iron style building? Gorgeous shot!
Thank you. I don’t the angle is quite as extreme as the Flat Iron Building. I’d love to have one of those in Boston. Cheers
