A Red Line train speeds across the Longfellow Bridge with the Hancock Tower in the background. P.S. “Hancock Tower is the old name for the building. It’s now known as 200 Clarendon Street.
Very nice shot, Chris! Those blurred lines are terrific! And what a shame about changing the names of famous buildings, they do that a lot in England too. The Swiss Re Tower aka The Gherkin is officially 30 St Mary Axe!!
Thanks Sarah. Our big arena used to be called the Boston Garden. Then it was a bunch of corporate names. The new corporation changed it back to the old name. Boston likes that. Cheers
I see..haha thanks for sharing otherwise I will never know. As you can tell..I am not at all good with cameras. I was so happy when our humble cellphone has an idiot proof camera feature. Just point and shoot. It comes out perfect each time😉
Ha ha ha, a different perspective. I was on the bridge trying to shoot a more traditional perspective and had a creative moment to make this. It was my fave photo of the day. Cheers!
lol speed in the morning…. have a good one!
I’m usually in low gear until after my second cup of coffee. You too. Enjoy the weekend. Cheers
buen dia
Speeding away, beautiful shot.
Niceone!
Thank you. Cheers
I love the blur on this, Chris–faster than the speed of light!
Thanks Lois. I’m really The Flash.
Ha! I knew it!

Your shutter speed must have been fast to catch it.
Actually, the opposite. A slow speed adds the blur.

They’re great cameras on those phones

Oh, what a cool shot of the train I took for ten years!
