I’ve seen these large metal dog sculpture before. The is one on the campus where I got my graduate degree. But the Charlestown section of Boston has taked it to a new level. They have a number of these sculptures decorated in various ways. Here is a very American patriotic dog and a rescue/service dog.
Yes, there is something like that here in DC– multi-color paper mache elephants & donkeys.
Excellent. I really like seeing these kinds of art installations. Cheers!
Stay. Good boy. These are great, Chris!
Hello Chris ! That looks like a wonderful sculpture. We have a huge lion sculpture in my home town. I will try to take a snap next time I visit. Happy friendship day ! ๐
Wow! A lion sculpture sounds so cool. Iโd love to see it. Cheers
I will surely try to click some decent shots, though not as good as yours! We even have a huge sculpture of a kettle pot since our Prime Minister was once a tea maker!
Nice sculptures and pretty image…thanks for sharing Chris !
My pleasure, Sohair. Have a good night. ๐
Thanks ๐
Love seeing pictures from Boston Mitchโค๏ธ๐
My pleasure. I’m glad you liked it. Cheers!
Nice shot! Like the framing.
Thanks, Teri. It was a good place to site those two sculptures. Cheers
Wow!!
Oh yeah. Have a great week!
As a dog lover, I have to say, these are so cool! ๐
Thanks. There seemed to be quite a few of these decorated sculptures of dogs at the Navy Yard but these were the most photo worthy. Cheers
Well, they don’t look too scary. ๐
Theyโre pretty friendly. Cheers ๐
They look so funny, as if they’re having a very serious discussion about something – maybe about the different kind of dog treats. ๐
Ha ha ha – I love your take on this. Cheers!
