View from Bunker Hill

The site (or thereabouts) of a famous battle in our country’s history is now a lovely neighborhood overlooking the city. I really like the old lantern style lights. Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhhod also has these. Another day, I’ll show you the monument to those who fought in this battle.

WP can be glitchy at times. Thank you. The lanterns are a gem. The more modern lights in other parts of the city. are not as nice and don’t look great when photographed

Thank you so much. You’re overdue for a visit. The city has changed a lot. The highway dividing the city is gone (or buried) and a new park exists in its place. Cheers!

Thank you Sarah. I really worked on this image. I made several exposures and also constantly had to wait for traffic to clear on the streets. This is an HDR image where I (or the computer) combined three exposures.
