When I posted images of the sand sculptures at Hampton Beach last month, my friend Sandhya at Indfused.com told me that Revere Beach had a really great festival. Last weekend, my wife and I parked the car in Boston and took the train to Revere Beach. It was packed and the sculptures were amazing. Food vendors lined Revere Beach Parkway feeding the hungry crowd. This was much more of an international event with sculptors from several countries.
Wow! I wish I could have seen this.
It’s worth coming up for. The crowds were big but manageable.
Our city here has sand castle competitions on Memorial Day (have no idea why it’s then!), but nothing even close to this spectacle!!
They are fun to see. I enjoy watching the sculptors work. Cheers
They’re so talented, it’s a shame their creations are doomed.
Abe Waterman is from PEI (where I live.). Nice shots. Amazing sculptures.
Thank you. PEI is so beautiful. We bikes across it some years ago. Cheers
Awesome sand figurines or sculptures😀
Thanks, Garfield. Cheers!
Very cool! I like how you can take a train from Boston and go to so many different places.
Thanks. Yes, the traffic must have been murder. All the trains were packed.
Wow!
Great sand sculptures. Thanks for sharing them.
My pleasure. Thank you!
Really impressive! I like that you did them in black and white. Cheers for the weekend!
Thank you. The light was such that the color versions didn’t look very good. BW is nice because the form really shows. Cheers!
Absolutely stunning 😃
Ciao

Thanks Sid. Cheers
Wow! I didn’t know sand could do this. 🙂 Another form of art to appreciate.
It is amazing. They don’t use beach sand. It doesn’t hold together well. They tend to use sand from a sand pit that has some clay in it. Thank you. Cheers
Interesting to know! 🙂
They look impressive!!
They were amazing and some were huge. Cheers
Wonderful pictures of these stunning sand sculptures, Chris! You must have had an awesome day!! 😀
Thanks, Sarah. It made for a fun day. Cheers
So pretty…thanks for sharing Chris !
My pleasure, Sohair. Cheers!
