I posted an image of this statue some time ago but was recently able to shot it with some amazing light on it. It is constructed in slightly offset layers that gives the subject some texture. Arthur Fiedler conducted the Boston Pops orchestra for fifty years.
Wow 😍
Fantastic statue, magnificent Conductor: I do adore Arthur Fiedler 💕💕💕
Cheers!

Thank you, Sid. Cheers
I remember your earlier shot of this sculpture. The light in this one is really wonderful and adds something magical and otherworldly to it. Cheers! 😄
It pays to chase the light. Thanks, Sarah. Cheers
It really does!!
That is an intricate head bust of the great conductor😃
😊
Very unusual!
It is. That’s one of the things I like about it. Cheers
For a moment I thought it was one of those that you lift the head and the layers follow. Cool shot!
Thanks. It’s a really cool statue.
I have only ever seen this technique once before and it was in the depths of no-where in a village in France … an arrestingly beautiful memorial. This is stunning.
I love the textured look!
Yes, that is what is so unique about it. Thanks, Christy. Cheers
Maybe with today’s 3D printer one could print out a statue like that.
True. This predates such printers. It must have been a technical challenge to make it. Cheers
Great statue…and the images from near and afar are creative indeed…
Thanks for sharing Chris 1
Thank you. It’s one of my favorite statues. Arthur Fiedler conducted the Boston Pops when I was a boy. I like how the statue shows him. Cheers
Those are amazing photos. Love the statue…something just intriguing about it.
Thank you. I agree about it being intriguing. If it was a simple bust, it would not have the same impact. Cheers!
Amazing and the lighting was perfect!
Thanks. I’ve been chasing the light a bit more and scheduling shoots for sunrise or sunset. Cheers
