We have our share of chipmunks here on Milford Street. As I went to my car the other morning, this one was perched on top of the woodpile. It stayed there while I backtracked to the house and grabbed my camera and telephoto lens. I managed to make these two images before it raced off.
You must’ve been very quick. They run very fast.
But my mom once had a pet squirrel thought.
They are fast but will find a spot and stay there a while. That was the case with this one. That is cool about your mother. There are two that live near our front steps. I put out some sunflower seed and sit on the steps. They eat right next to me as long as I stay quiet and still. Have a great weekend. Cheers

Oh! Such cuties! I love chipmunks, they are absolutely adorable! Great shots, Chris! Have a wonderful weekend! Cheers!
Thank you Sarah. Happy Weekend to you also. Cheers
I can never tell the difference between a chipmunk and a squirrel. All I know is that both scamper really fast and Alvin and the Chipmunks sing well.π
I can only tell the difference when they sing. The chipmunks are much better singers. π
Haha! π
Good morning, Chris….and little Chip! What a cutie!
Thanks Lois. Cheers
So pretty creatures…they do not live in my country:-(
Great shots if milford street Chris…cheers.:-)
Thanks Sohair. I can send you a couple. π
:-):-):-D
Pure cuteness π€
Ah, we have a couple of them that are regular visitors to our front steps for a bit of sunflower seeds. Their scampering about brings a smile to my face. Cheers!
Iβll be seeing those soon when we return to Pennsylvania very soon!
Very cute captures!
These are super cute, I shared in my Twitter feed.
Excellent. Thank you. Cheers!
So cute
Oh thank you. This time of year, they are everywhere. There are a pair that live near the front steps. We put out some sunflower seeds as a treat for them. Cheers!
I simply cannot get enough of chipmunks …. they are far too adorable. This morning I had to scoop one out of the pool ( very much alive and swimming thank goodness) and I have spent much of this morning creating means of escape for future moments when one decides the water looks inviting. Which I know from past experience is rather too often. And frogs. Not forgetting frogs. And turtles. Perhaps I should just fill in the pool!!!
Oh dear. You need to hire a life guard. Cheers
Nice shots, both of them!
Thank you so much. It made for a good subject. Cheers
