Hiking Up Mount Willard

The summit is not a difficult hike. It is about two hours round trip. Many people wore snowshoes but we managed it without them. There were a few slippery moments but nothing too bad. It had snowed the night before and everything was coated with fresh powder.

Tomorrow: The view from the summit.

Really love that devastated feeling of loneliness so beautifully accentuated with the b/w in your shots. The last one is my favourite, though I had to smile a little at the sign forbidding camping – nothing anyone would do there in this kind of weather I imagine. 😂 But in summer I guess it would be lovely!
