This is the external facade of Boston’s South Station. You can take the subway, commuter rail or Amtrack from here. I love the old facade, though the interior was renovated in the late 1980s. It’s much cleaner inside now but some of the old charm was lost. A look inside tomorrow.
Looks really impressive!
Thank you. It used to be much larger before trains were largely replaced by planes for long distance travel. Maybe I will put up some historic photos
Renovation often ruin the old feel. I love the architecture of these old buildings. They add charm to the cities.
I agree. It’s great to see when renovations keep many aspects of a buildings origins.
I feel that taking a heritage site in black and white accentuates it historical more, empasising its prestige. Look forward to seeing the inside of it. Thanks. Happy weekend!😀
Really pretty !!
Thank you….I really like this building. Cheers!
Beautiful photo, Chris! Love that it’s in b/w – I feel transported to the early 1900. 😊
Good call! Thanks Sarah.
