The morning that I was taking photos on Bunker Hill, I noticed that I could see this bridge between the buildings. I switched to a long lens to make this image.
The phrase city of industry sprung to mind. This image is surprisingly emotional for me. Deceptive in its simplicity, there’s a long story here that I want to know. 🖤
That bridge does have an industrial feel to me also. The area under it is very industrial. It took me a while to figure out where to go to get good pics of it. One story took place in the late 1980s, maybe 1990. It was a famous case. A man killed his wife and made it look like it happened in a robbery. The wife was pregnant at the time she died. The city was outraged. The woman was white and her husband said an African American man had kiiled her. Racial tensions flared. Finally, the police started to put together that it looked like the husband was the killer. Before they could take him into custory he jumped from this bridge to his death. Google: Charles Stuart, Boston. You can’t make up stories like this. Thanks for visiting.

Interesting lacework accented by the 2/3 sky above. The yellowish skylighting is pleasing.
Thank you. I like this bridge and made a special trip (a previous shoot) to shoot it at sunset from the other side.
