Between having already gone through two nights of hard frost and a major wind storm, the trees are bare and the flowers are gone. These are some images I made this summer from my wife’s gardens.
wow – as a former art teacher my eyes lit up with the purple yellow in the post (and how cool the iris has both) and a post like this is something I would have used to show students while learning complementary pairs…. we usually talk about the LA Lakers’ uniforms….
love the mood in each photo too – nice idea for a post and three cheers for your wife’s gardens
Wow! Winter is early…frost and all! I thought it is Fall…
We usually get frost this early. Thankfully, there is no snow…yet
So pretty !
Such a beautiful garden it seems to be !
Thanks Chris!
Thank you Soheir. Have a great day. Cheers
Beautiful irises! Thanks so much for sharing these lovely colorful flowers! 😄🌷🌸🌹🌺
My pleasure, Sarah. Cheers!
Sounds like winter to me! We are back in the high 80s. Your wife must have a beautiful garden.
Thank you. She does. It is her pride of the summer. Cheers!

Thank you so much, I will share this with her. I think this is a nice alternative to the Laker’s uniforms. Cheers!
Cheers
We had about 3 days of cold–we actually turned on the heat–and now the temps are back in the 80s. Florida winters stink.
I’ve been in Florida a couple of times during cold snaps. It’s not quite fun. Cheers
What beautiful reminders of the softer seasons 🙂
Thank you. We miss all the flowers already. Cheers
these are so beautiful, both flowers and photos!!
Thank you, Alex. It looks rather different here now. Cheers!
Oh so beautiful Chris it’s so fresh here ❄️ these make for a sunny feeling thank you ☺️ smiles hedy
Thank you, Hedy. It is chilly here also but not likely as fresh as where you are. My wife’s garden is her pride and joy. Cheers!
One gardens, the other photographs, a beautiful couple!
Thank you so much. Cheers
The damsels sashay!
