I loved this gorgeous photograph. I didn’t really like the sad “turn of events” in the film, “Mystic River.” It has a poignant story that needed to be told, though. Very realistic, yet depressing. I love “Mystic Pizza,” on the other hand! 🙂 🙂

Denis Lehane, who wrote the story Mystic River, likes complex and often dark stories and characters. He does portray our city’s characters well, especially more traditional Boston. For a Mystic Pizza, you have to dive a couple hours south to Mystic Connecticut. =)

Oh, Chris! Thanks for informing me of the author’s motivation. I believe he gave justice to a sensitive crime situation.
We, at least I watched both movies, “Mystic River” and “Mystic Pizza.” I am equally “fair” in my film watching to both Conn. and Mass. 😉 Ha ha ha!

Just beautiful! And that film is just awesome! I think I saw everything that Clint Eastwood starred or directed and it is kind of scary how each new movie just gets better than the one before…
