I made these two images in Boston last week. Both presented rather busy subjects and I liked all of the various layers to each of these complex images. One image was made in Chinatown and the other in Downtown Crossing.
Yeah! Thank’s Monica. This did have a lot of color to it on an otherwise grey day. I think that was part of what drew me to make these photos. The sun is out here and the snow and ice are quickly melting. Cheers!
Thank you, Sarah. Wandering around last week, I am finding that much of Boston has been renovated and made very sterile. Chinatown still has a lot of authenticity. Cheers!
I agree. I think I need to go further afield than I thought and get into more of the neighborhoods. Actually, I was in one of the neighborhoods and it was way too uniform. Berlin has character. Cheers!
Very interesting comparison. I like how both is represented.
Thanks, Kally. I thought they were both interesting with all of the different layers and things happening in them. Cheers
Nice street photography.

The same thing’s happening in many European cities too, even in London π¦ We need to document their glory with our pictures for later generations…

It has but I wonder for how long? The city and its habitants are changing quite quickly these past years… Cheers!
