A week ago, I was out on the ice making photos of the fishing derby. After a week of warm temperatures, including 70F/20C degree days, all of those ice fishing shacks are off the lake and my wife and I took our bikes for a ride on Plum Island. Plum Island is a barrier island on the Massachusetts coast. Half has high-end beach shacks and the other half is a wildlife refuge. We road through both and enjoyed a picnic lunch by the sea.

I appreciate you turning up the heat as we head back home on Tuesday. 🙂
Well most of the snow is gone but it is not nearly as warm anymore. Cheers
Beautiful!
Thank you so much, Lennon. I appreciate it. Cheers!
These are incredible especially the last one. The sky!!!
Thank you so much. Cheers!
Plum Island, especially the wildlife preserve, has been on my bucket list way too long. Thanks for this nice preview.
It’s worth going. Mid-summer, they get some nasty biting green-head flies, though.
Yikes! I hope to see some migratory birds so I’ll definitely skip the biting season!
Stay tuned! It could go back at any minute…but hopefully not. I really like the 3 shot 🙂
Thanks…I had not seen that bit of signage before. It is fun to find something new. Cheers!
big temp changes here too – and love the “3” the most
Thank you, I liked the three also. I came over the dune and there it was.
right there waiting for ya….
and that line almost sounds like the start of a fiction piece…
“I came over the dune and there it was….”
I was looking for a sign – something to inspire me and remind me that this too will pass.
waves on the beach — walkways – quiet people scurrying about –
a few birds settling down – and then coming over that dune – seeing the three…..
I knew I had to go back and tell everyone I was going to pursue teaching for sure….
hahhahh
Yes, it was a sign (ha ha ha) You are quite the creative writer. Cheers
ha – well good photos are catalysts – hee
good week to ya, C
Same to you 😊
You know it’s Spring coming but then thrown backwards into Winter. Yikes! Take it easy, Chris.
You too, Robin. Cheers
I would have been saying on my post (about my “horrible” Friday) “what a difference a day makes!” But I preferred not to complain there. . . Left you my day’s recounting essay on your Sunday’s post. . . and it wasn’t even Friday the 13th!! 😉
I’m glad things are settling out and less stressful. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Cheers!
Beautiful photos!
Thank you so much. Cheers
gorgeous photos, Chris!! just plain gorgeous… ♥
I remember yet another series with sand dunes, maybe from last year, very minimal and elegant… was it from the same place?
It was. That was two years ago. This is the place I go when the snow clears. Thanks, Alex. Cheers.
