This represents the rest of my images from last weeks Ice Fishing Derby. I happen to be passing by when this girl pulled a pickerel (fish) up through the ice. She was so proud. The temperatures have gone way up since Sunday, I have no idea how good the ice is now.

Fisherman’s tales! Love this series …. ๐
Thank you. I heard quite a few tales of the “one that got away”. Cheers
Love them all, but especially the 1st, 2nd and 5th shot!! That girl was so right to be proud ๐
She was proud. Dad was too. It is nice to see. They did not have a shack but just went out on the ice together. How are you doing today?
These are the moments a child is always going to remember, arenยดt they? And how tough they were not to have a shack, but I think the glow of their success was warming enough ๐ That and probably a lot of hot tea/coffee ๐
Iยดve tried your method today and went out to tackle the day no matter how bad I feel – letยดs just say: Iยดm definitely no Jack Reacher ๐ The only comparison that would fit me at the moment might be a TV series character called “Monk” played by Tony Shalhoub, do you know him? When he got sick, he was even more of a disaster as when he wasn’t!
Oh no!!!! ๐ฑ. Yes, I am familiar with Monk. Sorry you channeled him rather than Reacher. There is a good supply of warm drinks in thermoses out on the ice. Cheers
Congrats to that girl for her fishing skills. Nice to see a shot of a child with something in her hand besides a phone or a remote. ๐
Ha ha ha. So true. Thanks Judy
This would scare me to no end!
Why? Fear of falling through. They were driving trucks out there.
Probability theorem haunts me!
what a wonderful series Chris…love them! ๐
I just love this series, Chris ๐ you should be putting links to the previous installments in these posts… ๐
Thanks, Alex. You’re right, of course. The ice fishing images are always popular. Cheers
This is really a good read and beautiful photos!! Thanks!!
Thank you, Garfield. Cheers!
Hahaha! This is so cool. I admire them. I have no patience for fishing.
Fantastic shots, Chris ๐
Mo-hugs โค
Thank you and thank you for the Mo-hugs. I have no patience for it either. That’s why I make the photos. Cheers
Hahaha! Good one, Chris.
I prefer to watch someone else than to do it :))
This was a wonderful series with people happy to share their experiences and get pictures taken. Smiles, Robin
Thank you, Robin. The people there are so friendly and love to share what they do. Cheers
Wonderful impressions! โค
Thank you so much, Dina. Cheers!
