Yes, the light hit the curves just perfectly. How is your Sunday going? I am making the dish tonight that I sent you the recipe; the stew with coffee in the broth.
It did and you captured it perfectly with your lense!
So far, so good, I crawled out of my bed and am sitting at my desk – hurra! Still taking painkillers etc. but IΒ΄m slightly more optimistic than yesterday.
Ahh, that stew! CanΒ΄t you just pass me some of it right through, please?? It sounds sooo good – I bet Jack Reacher would kill for it π Or probably just punch you to get the recipe π
Me neither π Except if I had a second copy of each book… but I doubt he would sign that many. Probably if I served him his best coffee ever though…π
I am sure you would serve him an excellent brew! π. I was just checking Lee Childs’ website. There is a collection of short stories due out the end of May but only in US and Canada. It will be in the U.K. and Ireland in June. Hmmmm
ThatΒ΄s good news! How come that authors are so much slower than their readers? π So lazy the lot of them π Maybe readers should take initiative and chip in a story or two π ThatΒ΄s what I and a friend did when the wait for the next Harry Potter was too long back in school π
My problem is that I am not as creative as Lee Childs. He usually produces a novel a year…which is pretty amazing. You have to wonder how he gets his ideas. He and Reacher have very different backgrounds.
He’s a Brit and was in TV production until he got laid off. He needed to get work and decided to write a novel. That was book one of the Reacher series.
Tuesday is good so far. I completed my student teaching lesson this morning and the rest of the day feels easy in comparison. I hope your day is going well and you have a fun artistic project to work on. Cheers
Sounds good! Nope, no fun artistic project for me I’m afraid. My meds are not working and I need to go to the doc tomorrow π¦ Sinusitis just sucks…
Hope your Wednesday is as good as your Tuesday! π
Oh no! π±No relief from the sinusitis. I hope the doc can cure you. Wednesday is fun so far. I’m grabbing a quesadilla for lunch, then studying, tutoring and class. Cheers π
Mmh, quesadilla! Sounds good! π
It seems my doc has given up on me π¦ Now he says I have to lie in bed til it gets better – great advice! Have I mentioned that IΒ΄m not a very patient patient? π
Have a great Thursday, Chris! Cheers!
That is not the medical help you were hoping for. I’m the type that I have no patience with bed and will just somehow manage to get better. I channel my inner Jack Reacher. Have a great Thursday, Sara. I hope you feel better soon. π
No, not really π¦
Haha! So you channel your inner Jack Reacher, eh? π Sounds tough π I guess, IΒ΄m less Jack and more…mmmh, let me think, any book character thatΒ΄s notorious for whining about? No one comes to mind, but IΒ΄m sure there are. IΒ΄ll give it more thought! π
That’s only because I find beauty in machines. Almost every day that I was I n El Salvador, I walked by a car mechanic’s shop. He would have engine parts (like internal parts) laid out on the counter. I found it endlessly fascinating. To each their own. I hope you had a good weekend Alex. π
Thank you, Robin. I actually found myself wondering about the people who did the design work on this space and wondered if they thought about how it would photograph. It’s a gem. I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Cheers
That really is a fantastic image! Hugs.
Thank you so much. I really enjoyed making images here. Cheers!
Me too! And the yellow light makes for nice accents on the railings! π

I’d skip the punch and give him the recipe. Or have him for supper. Does he eat in houses or just diners?
IΒ΄m sure he eats just about everywhere π DonΒ΄t forget to serve him coffee too! And while youΒ΄re at it, make him sign your copies! π
I’m not sure I have copies. I’ve done either audiobooks, ebooks or library books. But I would give him coffee.
Too bad! You could have sold them on eBay and thus finance your new expensive photo equipment including that swimsuit! π
I would never sell a book autographed by Jack
Me neither π Except if I had a second copy of each book… but I doubt he would sign that many. Probably if I served him his best coffee ever though…π

That is pretty amazing. I have to confess to know nothing of Mr Child’s background. Enlighten me?

Wow! Instant success just like that! Proof that writing isn’t going the same way as the dinosaurs π
True. I’m not sure how many people can pull that off, but he did. And we all benefit from it.
We totally do!! π
I’m not sure many get instant success but I’m glad he started writing. Happy Tuesday!
I think nearly no one does! Most writers have to fight really hard to even get an agent. Happy Tuesday! π

Love the lighting in this!
Really enjoy this series!
Thank you so much. Have a great day. Cheers!
This is an amazing shot!
Thanks Teri. It is an amazing place. Cheers
Sure looks like it!
you’ve created harmony in what otherwise may seem like a chaos of lines and angles π

How in the world did you get such golden light outlines? These are fabulous details, Chris!

Oh, the lighting!
Thank you…They did an amazing job in designing the restoration of this old building.
