My wife is very patient. I always want to go down weird alleyways and explore the docks. We found this wharf during out visit to Portland, Maine. It is a working fishing wharf with some great old signs and scenes.
No snow in a few days and we have melting today and tomorrow. There are some winter events in town. I hope to get a few clicks. Sorry you’re not feeling well. š±
Portland is such a fun place to spend the day or just poke around. I can attest to a good breakfast and a tasty lunch at the Porthole. It is a step back in time….
Your black and white photographs are very pretty but I happen to love the pops of red in the first and third photos! Your wife is special and patient. It is good you appreciate and show her this understanding. Such reciprocity is valuable! ā¤
We do make a good team. Thank you for your kind words on the images. I also like the reds. I could have made all of these as BW, but the color was just too delicious. Cheers
Kudos to your wife, Chris! š
Totally love the 2nd shot with the sun and the lobster crates!!
Thank you, Sara. They always said not to shoot into the sun. Boy, were they wrong.
They definitely were! šš
Any fun plans this weekend??
I wish! My cold developed into a sinusitis š¦ I stay home, drink lots of fluids and take antibiotics. And how are you? More snow? š

Down your weird alleys, you are capturing the essence of New England for me. My thanks to your patient wife.

The lobster trap photo is wonderful. B&W called its name.
