Wow! Beautiful rich lighting on this cozy street – looks like a Thomas Kinkade painting (although I feel that he goes a little overboard with romantic lighting)
Thank you…I agree both that the lighting really makes this shots and that Mr. Kinkade, though talented, did tend to go a bit overboard on the lighting. But it was his signature touch, millions loved it and he had a great business from it; so who am I to say. Cheers!
Thank you, Norm. It is well worth it. It has some gorgeous doors. There is a woman who does photo-tours of that area, if you’re interested but you can also see a lot on your own given your keen eye. Cheers!
Ooh looks like a page out of Dicken’s book. It is the type of street lamps that reminds me of Christmas cards. So pretty. Thanks for the shareπ
Thank you, Garfield. I agree. There is another way that I want to shoot this but need another snow storm. Cheers!
*Rubs hand in glee*…I hope a snow storm comes as I want to see π
Nice click
Thank you so much, Ms. Talkaholic (love the name, btw). Cheers!
Oh Thank you for the compliment..
Looks awfully narrow for a plow to come through. Like the trees at the top!
I would not want to be the snowplow driver for that street…or in the big city, period! Thanks, Teri.
Even in a snowstorm, this is beautiful.
Thank you, Lois. I think the storm adds something. Cheers!
Looks like you know how to handle snow up there!
The city did a great job with that storm! Kudos to them. Cheers!
Beautiful light!
Yes, it was a gorgeous evening with such nice light. Thank you, Ally. Cheers!
very beautiful with those lanterns on…
The lanterns make this area special. Thanks, Alex. Happy Weekend!!!

Nice one! I will definitely spend some time walking that neighborhood the next time I’m in Boston.

such a wonderful neighbourhood…i stayed there 6ish years ago…love Boston! π
I often take photos there. I want to get in there at night after a snow storm but before they plow and clear the cars. Cheers
i also went to yoga studio close by there…i really enjoyed my visit…it’s a really lovely…anyways…i also love snow π
Same here, unless I have to drive in it. We could use more. Football time here in Boston. π Cheers
Gorgeous! Almost makes the cold and snow with it!
Beautiful shot, Chris! Love the lamps and the atmosphere they create in contrast to the blue sky.
Lovely and magical! Christmas postcard material!
Thank you. It is definitely a contender for this year’s Christmas card. Have a great week. Cheers!
Wow π³!!
Thank you. Yes, it is a beautiful place. I want to get back there right after a storm but the weather has not cooperated.
I can just imagine…
how you felt
