This has been in the queue to be posted for a while. I usually stick to landscape formatted images because they seem to look better in my blog than portrait formats. But I like the tones in this image. It was made in September before school started in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Only a couple more weeks before school ends for the semester and I hope to return here for a visit to see how it looks in winter.
I have the same feelings about portrait images in my blog as well, don’t like to use them because they don’t usually view well. As you note, exceptions will be made for images that merit sharing.
Congrats on making it through first semester and good catch here.
Gracias. A few papers to finish and presentations to make but almost there. Yay
Ahhhh I remember those papers – shudder! lol
It’s not so bad. I spent much of my time in my former career writing.
While I enjoyed the papers the research, drafts and editing before turning them in always got to me… and then I could exhale.
Very nice!
Thank you so much. Cheers!
I love this image
Oh, thank you so much, Osyth. How was Thanksgiving?
I had a wonderful day and I hope you did too!
We did thank you.
This is definitely a portrait of a beautiful scene. It is quite lovely and impressionistic in nature. Your bridge over a bay or inlet was similar in texture and mood, Chris.
Thank you, Robin. It may have been the same bay. That was my last ocean shoot before school began. Christmas break is coming and I hope to make some ocean photos again soon. Cheers!
Very nice!
Thank you so much. Cheers!
It´s lovely, Chris! A symphony of soft grey and pastel rose… Look forward to see the winter shots of it! 🙂
Thank you. Me too. I’m hoping when I can get down there, they have a bit of snow. They don’t often get much snow on the coast. Cheers!
I keep my fingers crossed!! 🙂 Cheers!
