Some images from the old Granary Buring Ground in Boston, Massachusetts. If you look at one of the headstones, you’ll see that Mother Goose is buried there. The pennies on Paul Revere’s grave is new to me.
A guide I overheard said he thinks it is a tribute. My grandmother was fascinated with Mother Goose being in there and would always bring us in to see her tombstone.
Very lovely pics and headstones, Chris! I donΒ΄t know why, but I always liked being around cemeteries… π
IΒ΄m so sorry for not having commented in so long now – it really is difficult for me right now, so I just admired your wonderful pics and liked them… Hope you donΒ΄t mind… I really miss being able to visit all my friends blogs regularly, and especially yours!
Mother Goose is buried there??? Missed that one. It is a very interesting cemetery.
You missed Mother Goose? You need a do-over. π
I may need to check my files just in case. The day we were there it was packed with people π
I wonder what the pennies signify …. and how amazing that Mother Goose was real!

Mother Goose and Paul Revere are two of my favourite characters. π
That is so cool. And who would think they are buried in the same cemetery.
