Since returning to school, my daily exercise has involved more hiking outside than going to the gym. I still try to hit the gym a couple of days a week, but it’s twenty minutes away compared to local trails only a few minutes up the road. Most days now, I am hiking on these trails. I think part of it comes from having really enjoyed exercising outside while I was living away this past summer. I miss taking walks in the park in El Salvador and looking at the volcano, but this is pretty special also.
Lovely golden colors there.
Thank you, Teri. It is very gold here with touches of red where there are sugar maples. Cheers!
We are just getting some reds and oranges. The new maple in our yard is all red now.
Beautiful colours of autumn and nice place – real beauty of nature! Enjoy your hiking. Bye. Kamila
Thank you so much. Yes, it is lovely here now. There is a bit of a breeze and all the leaves are swirling about. Cheers!
Give me hiking any day! Beautiful place – beautiful shots!
Thank you…I hope you can get out there and enjoy a bit of the autumn colors yourself.
With the aid of my incredible Allard Brace I am out and walking and even ran a 5K in Lincoln on Sunday. I have to be cautious on uneven ground (my specialist pointed out that I don’t want to break the brace 😂) but honestly, my friend – have never seen such incredible colour as here in New England. I truly understand what all the fuss is about not. We ventured up to Vermont at the end of last month and it was glorious … but here on my doorstep I feel SO fortunate to be alive and able to witness Fall here.
Fall in Boston is lovely. I was thinking of venturing down with my camera to the Esplanade. (If I can pull myself away from my books)
Treat it as mindful occupation … I use that excuse all the time when I feel guilty about not being nose to the writing-stone!
I would have liked to hike those trails too 🙂
Here, only cement, asphalt, concrete!
Ciao
Sid
Oh dear…Well I hope you find some beauty in your world. Cheers!
Big cities have some advantages, and some disadvantages 😀
Cheers!
Sid
Beautiful fall scene! Great photography, golden yellow hues and a snapshot of your hiking trail. Lovely share and thanks
Thank you so much, Garfield…Cheers!
Not a bad place to hike and better than a gym!
I totally agree. It is a bit weather dependent but I hike here in winter.
Around my area here in PA, the colors of Fall are much the same. However, I never get tired of what Mother Nature shows us in Her beauty. I have not posted much for the Fall Color here, cause I’ve done much of it in previous Posts. Nice Image.
Thank you. It sounds like it must be very pretty there also. Cheers!
Wonderful pictures! If autumn would always look like that, I´d definitely enjoy it more 😉 Around here it´s just very grey and dull at the moment… I can imagine that you miss walking around the awesome landscape of El Salvador and look at that spectacular volcano!
I do miss it but also love where we live. There is a lot of beauty in Berlin. I’m sure the grey will clear up. Thank you so much. Cheers!
You were right! The sun is trying to fight its way through the clouds today! Hooray!! 😀
Here comes the sun doo doo doo doo…
Here comes the sun, and I say
It´s all right… 🙂
Today it´s even better!! Enjoyed a lovely autumn walk 😀 Have a wonderful sunday, Chris! Cheers!
You also, Sarah. Cheers!
Autumn colors are the best! Around here, they don’t last long. A few days of color, then the wind comes up and trees turn bare quickly.
I hear you. The leaves are falling rapidly. We have a wind storm arriving Saturday night and I think the trees will be looking rather bare afterwards. Cheers!
Beautiful golden color! I miss the Pennsylvania Maples. However next week I will be up in Sedona and see the Golden Aspens.
Great photos!
Thank you, Nancy. Ah, Sedona is so pretty. I hope you get to enjoy some nice color there. Cheers!
Me too!
I’m new to WordPress so follow like and comment on both my websites. Thanks and I follow back.
How beautiful!!!
Thank you Soheir. I hope that all is well with you, my friend!
Thanks Chris!!!
All is well thanks a lot!!!
Not just pretty nice, fantastic opportunity and beautiful scenery, Chris.
Although, you did have a wonderful long distance place to enjoy, a rare delight. 🙂 This was such a nice set of photos.
Thank you Robin. We had rain and wind this weekend so the trees are all but bare now. But it’s still pretty here. I hope all is well with you and yours. Cheers!
All is busy and a little off kilter, but your 18 months program in 12 months is so much on your “plate,” too. The rain took a lot of our colorful leaves but we are behind you, many trees still have green leaves. Smiles, Robin
