I really enjoyed these shots, they translate their way of life and celebration very nicely Chris. π
Thank you Laurie. Cheers!
Wonderful display of vivid colors, primary colors. iPhone or DSLR? Question: how would a vegetarian survive on their diet, available food choices. Beans without lard or animal fats? Tortillas wo lard or animal fats? Cheese is okay.
I’m using a Lumix. Technically, it’s a point and shoot but it’s more like a mirror less with a fixed lens. I can adjust f-stop, ISO and shutter speed. I’ve no idea the lard content of the food here. Interesting question because I’ve had many meals that I thought were vegetarian that may not have been.
I asked Joaquin about this. He said it is very difficult to be vegetarian here for the reasons you mention. Even if you have the place next door to me, Taco Loco, make you a veggie taco, it is made in the same grill as all of the meat. And there is a lot of animal fat used in making the beans and such. You might need to cook for yourself. There are a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables available here.
Looks like so much fun and love the color!
It is fun. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing and sending you a blog hug my friend – π
Thank you. Hugs are welcome.

Sitting around a Beetle eating pizza?! So not what I expected to see. I love it.
I ate there one night. It’s pretty good and pretty cool. Cheers!
The colours come out even better at night – very lovely shots, Chris! And the cathedral looks just stunning!!
Thank you Sarah. It is a beautiful church. I had a nice dinner on this street last night. They have a good variety of food there. And a really good coffee bar on the back of a motorcycle! Cheers
Sounds amazing! It must have been a great night π So itΒ΄s not only pupusas they serve, eh? π Good to know! Cool – a coffee bar on a motorcycle – did you make a picture??
Great shots, shows the spirit of the town
Thank you. It’s fun to go here on the weekends. Cheers!
